EQUIP YOURSELF WITH A FARMFLEX ROLLER

FARMFLEX rollers are made of semi-hollow rubber tires, that need no inflating or reinflating. The tires are mounted on a steel tube specially designed for agricultural applications.

This feature gives them multiple advantages over steel rollers ((bar, packer, welded dish, spring leaf, double U, etc) )

OTICO is the only manufacturer in the world of semi-hollow rollers, and has filed numerous patents for its various shapes and sizes of rollers.

VERSATILE

FARMFLEX® rollers are effective in all conditions :

•  On light soils (sandy soils, etc): excellent lift capacity thanks to its very large contact surface with the soil, which reduces tractive effort.

•  On clayey soils and wet conditions: the suppleness of the rubber gives FARMFLEX® rollers excellent self-cleaning ability.

•  On crusty soils: the tread pattern that the profiles leave on the soil reduce crusting substantially.

SELF-CLEANING +++

This self-cleaning ability is made possible by the rubber, which can deform as it turns, allowing earth to unstick from the roller. FARMFLEX rollers can thus operate in wet conditions and on sticky land.

ABSORBS SHOCKS AND MICRO-VIBRATIONS

Rubber can absorb certain shocks, as well as vibrations and load peaks that machinery experiences moving through fields at high speed or from rocks and stones.

This "shock absorbing function" of rubber reduces pressure on bearings, the roller frame, and on the machine in general.

FULLY ENCLOSED ROLLER

OTICO rollers are fully enclosed, which prevents rocks, earth and residue from accumulating inside the roller.

EASY TO INSTALL

FARMFLEX rollers are mounted on axles that can be custom-made to fit an existing machine.

OTICO also offers (as an option) frames perfectly designed for rollers that can be fitted to any machine via simple flanges.

INTENSE TAMPING

- Intense and uniform tamping keeping up with the work

- Optimises earth/seed contact for:

           - sowing cover crops

           - creating false seed beds

           - sowing with tine seed drills

- Keeps moisture in the soil during dry periods by promoting water take-up by capillaries.

GAS EXCHANGE
